PrettyEmbed.js basically replaces the video embed iframe with a DIV which holds the video's poster image and a "Play" button on top.
When the user wants to view the video, the image is hidden and the original iframe embed code is brought back, with the video starting automatically.
The plugin was created with the sole purpose of prettifying the cluttered YouTube video embeds, which most of the times mess up a site's interface or look just plain ugly at lower resolutions.
FitVids.js integration is included, allowing PrettyEmbed.js to be used with responsive page layouts.
Developers can control what video poster image quality to use, if to loop the video after it ends, if to show the video's details and controls while playing, if to show related videos at the end, if to use closed captions, or which video player color scheme to use.
